Following the huge success of the Music in Felixstowe concerts, we are presenting an eighth series. Audiences have the opportunity to hear the finest musicians many of whom live in East Anglia. It has become very clear that concertgoers appreciate professional live music in the town. A special rapport has been built up between performers and listeners, thanks partly to the special nature of each venue. Music in Felixstowe embraces most genres of music and also hosts a very popular lunchtime series given by young Suffolk musicians.
The success of these concerts has led to further performances in venues such as "The Cut" Halesworth, The Woodbridge Concert Series at Woodbridge School, St Mary le Tower Ipswich, Harkstead Church and at Waldringfield, Peasenhall and Kirton Village Halls.
The formation of the "Classic Strings Orchestra" led by Nicholas Ward has added an exciting new dimension to the repertoire we are able to offer.
"The Festival Orchestra" plays light popular classics. This orchestra is giving 2 major concerts for the Jubilee weekend in Felixstowe and Aldeburgh.
It has raised a substantial amount of money for St Elizabeth's Hospice, Ipswich and is available to hire for fund raising events.

How To Find Us
St Andrew's Church, Felixstowe is located in St Andrew's Road off Hamilton Road in central Felixstowe. It was built in 1930 and is one of the most significant 20th Century churches in England being the first ferro-concrete church.
St Nicholas Church, Felixstowe Ferry can be found in the hamlet of Felixstowe Ferry. Leave Felixstowe town centre on High Road East. Cross the golf course, and, just as the houses start again take a right turn down the unpaved road behind the Victoria pub. You reach St Nicholas after about 50 yards.
